As an early Christmas present, we’re delighted to offer you this sneak peek of one our exciting titles for 2011 – David Belbin’s adult crime debut Bone and Cane.
The novel also introduces an unusual and dynamic crime partnership. Sarah Bone and Nick Cane were lovers and radical student protestors before they went their separate ways: Sarah Bone to become a ‘Blair’s Babe’ and Nick Cane to grow and sell wholesale amounts of cannabis. They reunite after Nick Cane gets out of prison in 1997 on the eve of the General Election, when Sarah Bone’s fighting for a ‘safe’ Tory seat and celebrating overturning a wrongful conviction for murder, which she comes to regret…
