Tindal Street Press at States of Independence
Wednesday, 5th October 2011
Tindal Street Press will be taking part this Saturday 8 October, 10am – 4pm, in the inaugural States of Independence (West) – a book fair celebrating local publishers of fiction, poetry, art and everything in between.
Come along to the distinctive grounds of Eastside Projects’ Digbeth gallery to browse the latest publications or just to say hello to publishers, other readers and writers. There will also be panel discussions, readings and flash workshops during the day, food and drink on sale, and quiet places where you can relax with a book or two.
Tindal Street Press will be selling a selection of our publications, from the latest British Asian anthology Too Asian, Not Asian Enough to some of our classic titles, including special bargain offers.
States of Independence (West) has been produced by the West Midlands Independent Publishers Network, and has been managed by Writing West Midlands and Nine Arches Press. Other publishers involved include Flarestack Poets, Cinnamon Press, Offa’s Press, Five Seasons Press and Rubery Press.
States of Independence (West) is part of this year’s Birmingham Book Festival.
